First Day of School PreK 3
First day of school for this man came and went on Sept 6th. He went in and started playing with play dough and did just fine.
His teacher is a former retired teacher and I think she is a tad bit over whelmed with the nearly 4-year-olds. I hope he is behaving for her. He is smart and knows just about everything he's intended to know. He needs to do better on his letter recognition. It will all come in time.
He is shy and quiet. He is not like his brother who adores the groups and the big games and crowds. D would rather one on one, playing with play dough, or dinosaurs, or tag. It's all a puzzle that's coming together slowly.
We started car lane this week. And he seems to like it well. We shall see. I am glad he has two more years of prek. I can't imagine sending him to kinder. It's hard enough seeing him so big and strong. I see him standing next to G and I think ... oh G ... brace your heart, he may be bigger than you.
D is so sweet and kind and good and tough and rough and tumble. He is the joy of my heart.
