I've been going through the infant clothes.  Selling bits and pieces of their infancy away for $1 a piece.  The boys clothes weigh on me - I want them gone.  I've sold and donated a lot.  Passed on a fair amount to friends that had a boy and our newest nephew.

But there are some outfits I just can't part with.

The top outfit he wore that one time.  Only that once.  He didn't even wear it home because it was massive (obviously).  Even at 0-3mo.  It was the first baby outfit we ever bought.  Ever.  We left the doctors appointment for the anatomy scan and went and bought the baby blue outfit.  He would wear one time.

There are other outfits that are special.  The outfits I brought G home in (Texas Tech).  J's coming home outfit (roses).  D's coming home outfit I didn't really like.  Even in the hospital I was like ... "this is what I brought?  What was I thinking?"

I'm attached to all of the baby clothes.  There was a gap outfit that G got at his baby shower that I just loved.  I've kept that and just can't really part with it.  I will.  I'm going to.  Because I can't keep everything.  But these outfits pictured ... I want to find something to do with them.  But I can't imagine me hanging them in a shadowbox as decor.  Just seems odd.  So I guess I box them up.  To save for the grandchildren.

As I go back through all the teeny baby things it's hard not to be nostalgic.  G it just seems unfathomable.  The pictures take on that old timey quality and I really just can't remember a time when he was that small.  That helpless.  That non-verbal!

But there it is.  In pictures.  The only proof we keep that these little beings were once just little glow worms.  Bizarre.
