Overnight
She is going to crawl. Very. Very. Soon.
"I'm going to get that ball. I'm going to crawl if I have to."
I will read and eat this book.
She is a sweetie.
He can read. He is very smart.
I can't sit myself up now.
"eggs don't taste that good mom."
"I'm going to pull up on this bath tub mom."
She wants to pull up. She wants to move. She is done being my easy, sit still and play baby. Now she wants what the boys want.
The "you told ME??? no??" face.
Yummy blueberry muffin.
And just like that, overnight, she is leaving baby things behind her. I mean don't get me wrong, she's still a baby. But now she's eager and intent on doing. more. As soon as possible. She wants table food even though she really can't eat it. She tries but doesn't get much down. Still chokes quite a bit. But if you don't let her try she's going to have a fit.
Her fits are small. She gets mad (like when she wants to eat and it's not convenient) and her whole body tenses and she makes little fists and shakes her hands and lets out a shriek. It is hilarious. She makes this big eyed "I can't not believe you told me no" when I tell her no. It's also, hilarious. Like really shocked that I told her no.
She saves her best smiles for her brothers. It's kind of remarkable. Siblings are the best.
Christmas makes me sentimental. I am amazed at how blessed we are.
