Notes

Baby J pat refuses to sleep flat.  REFUSES.  And it's actually worse than that.  She won't lay on her back.  Not in the swing.  Not in the rock n play.  Not anywhere.  She is not a fan of the carseat.  Probably for this reason.  She cries for a good bit before finally giving in and falling asleep.

So for all my talk ... I do make them cry it out early.

Was reading back on here trying to see if there's anything on here about G ... there isn't much ... but I really think he was the most like this.  His makes sense because he was so reflux-y and heart burn is just so much worse when laying flat.

But J isn't spitting up.  She does not outwardly appear to have reflux.  Unless it's "silent" reflux.  Which can you say designed to make me crazy?  You mean you can have this crap silently?

For what it's worth I don't think she has it.  I think she's a tiny baby that wants to be cuddled and warm.  And laying flat on your back in a sparse crib isn't either of those things.  But what's the deal with hating the swing?  Habit maybe?  Because I never make her sit in it?  I don't know.

I'm trying not to stress about it and just letting her sleep on her side or with me.  Especially since she's still small.

But in reading a bit about what I wrote about G ... he was waking up every two hours at night and every 30min during the day.  And that's what she does if I don't sleep with her.

I also know that in the beginning I slept with D at nap time too, because I wanted a nap and wanted everyone to nap at the same time.  It worked for the first few months quite well.  Then by month 3/4 his naps needed to be earlier.  Or something.

I spend a lot of time thinking on all this.

We're going to Florida in two weeks.  Beach vacation.  And I'm taking the kids to ... yup ... Disney World for a couple days.  :)  I am super excited.  And because this is how our life works, our very dear friends from Boston, whom we did NOT plan with, are going to be there at the same time!!!

G is going to flip. out.
