15 Months

I've been remiss in updating. I checked and I haven't posted a single thing in November.   That seems a little neglectful.  So here we are in November, with a house that's newly repainted with new flooring, and this is some of what we've been up to.

While the floors were being done in earnest the kids and I hightailed it with Gma up to Kansas.  We visited with my grandmother and my aunt and some cousins (one of whom is pictured above).  G loves going places and visiting.  And he loved the snow, probably most of all.  And asked repeatedly if there would be snow at home.

Thankfully, that answer was a big NO.

Aww soccer.  What a love-hate relationship I had with you this fall.  G loves it.  Loves loves it.  But he's competitive and wants to do well and I don't like that aspect of sports at this age and it just happens so fast but he loves playing so we play.  And towards the end it did get better.  The coach started talking to him about the importance of defense so he did more of that and he learned about not taking the ball from people on his own "team." 

This was the last practice of the season.  He got a trophy and it's his precious.  He would carry it around if I had it out.  But I don't because it's used as a weapon when the boys start squabbling over it.
