Today I brought treats for his class to celebrate his birthday.  It was like a peek behind the curtain into what happens at school.

I love his school.  So much.  Everyone I know that sends their kids loves it.  But, truth be told, most of the parents I talked to love their schools, which ever school that might be.

But I do feel like G's school is special.  I could go into all the ways it's special but it would offend at least four of you and I'm not in the business of offeding folks.

It's probably just development and he'd have hit the same high points this year with or without the school … but I like to think his teacher and the amazing chemistry of his school mates helped.

They are so organized and thoughtful and have good manners.  Such sweet kids.  I love them all.  And I do think I missed my calling as a prek teacher, and I've tucked that information away for later.

My baby is 4 today.  Wow.
