Christmas Performance

So I was the volunteer mom for this.  I did the craft, which was a popsicle Christmas tree that was not that big of a hit but it really is hard to tell.  Most of the kids at least tried to do it, they didn't get up and run around or anything.  So win?  The other mom told me it was a good party, so I'm going to take her at her word.

Chalupa was a good boy through much of it.  He didn't cry or anything just toddled around looking at what big brother was doing and begging for cupcakes.

The performance ... :)  The director said it right when she said that this performance was for the mommies and daddies and that truthfully just getting a bunch of 3s on the risers was a huge accomplishment.  I have to agree with her!

But what a good group of kids.  Most of them did the hand movements at least part of the time, most tried to sing at least part of the time.  In the video, that random loud noise you hear?  Yeah that's my kid.  Not sure what he was doing, if Emily was poking him (she kept trying to *help* him do the movements) or if it was the bright light that he was reacting to, but it was pretty funny.  He didn't really sing much of the first two songs, but he sang the last one.
