So what does a just over one year old want for Christmas?  We all know the standard answers of paper, or whatever toy that big brother has (both true) but really, for Chalupa, the answer is chocolate!

Daddy had put a bunch of candy in the electric train under the tree (which beautifully wound around the presents I'll let you know).  So *choo choo* goes the train with it's cars filled to the brim with candy, mostly chocolate candy.

G went for the toys and wrapped gifts.  But Chalupa, not knowing anything about those really, went for waht he knew.  He went for the candy.

He would grab a piece out of the train (which he derailed) and then toddle over to his dad (I was in the kitchen) and extend the candy to him.  Much to his shock, his dad opened almost every piece he brought to him.  It's Christmas, after all.

He spent the whole morning looking for candy.  His favorites being the Dove peppermint bark ones.  He has good taste.  He would squeal excitedly when he found some and then happily find an adult to open it for him.  When that started to fail, he'd try to chew off the wrapper.  Needless to say the candy got hidden pretty quickly.

I know this probably isn't news for most parents.  Shocker!  Kids love candy.  It is nice to see Chalupa take such joy in it.  It was fun.
