Fall Fun
Oh the fun that was had at the fall festival at FBC. Just about everything in the pre-k room appealed to G which isn't surprising because they have the pre-k thing nailed. Bounce houses, face painting, coloring, carnival games (with candy prizes).
When we were leaving I made the comment to the car that they (FBC) had kids nailed and had everything that little boys like. And G says from the backseat, "yeah, candy!" It was pretty funny.
He really loved all of it. The fishing. There was bowling. There wasn't much there he didn't like. And we got there right when it started so there wasn't much of a crowd, though it got very crowded as we were leaving. We went at the right time.
Even Chalupa had fun playing on the smallest bounce house and coloring and watching his brother play. He liked bouncing but him being in there made the other moms nervous, so I had to take him out.
There is one spot in G's room that is not carpeted, near the jack and jill bathroom, and Chalupa goes to it in his sprint like crawl and gets a car and plays. Now G goes to and they have "car races." It's pretty adorable.
They fight like maniacs. And G is constantly taking toys out of his hands and kicking him. I have instituted a two kick two level penalty. First kick is a time out. Second kick, no matter what Chalupa did to earn it, gets a spanking.
I have never had to go to level two.
The policing of the boys is a beating. Seriously. Wears me out. Mom he took my toy! Mom he's breaking the train! On and on and on. And in the background you can hear Chalupa shrieking because G did something or took something from him.
But when they get along and when they play it is very nice. And they can be very nice to each other. Like, for maybe sixty seconds during any given day.
