This was here last year but this year when they added the new special needs park they put in much needed shade, picnic and bathroom areas.
G and this friend did this the entire hour we were there. Just waited for the water buckets to fill and dump on their heads. I love when big kids are kind to him. So many aren't. You wouldn't think that would be the case but he is so eager to play and some older kids are just mean about making the "baby" go away. This big kid just went with it and helped G figure out when and which buckets were going to dump next.
I love the pictures you can get at the splash pad. I didn't get any as good as my favorite one from last year, but these are good enough for me.
Chalupa wasn't impressed with the cold water this trip. On a subsequent trip he would like to more but I think he's a solid year away from enjoying getting sprayed in the face. Babies can control so little of their own enviornment I think getting hit with water just over stimulates more than it's fun.
My boys. They are awesome in their wonderfulness.
