This was taken right after nap time on March 2nd.  Chalupa was still kinda sleepy and he really likes to cuddle in those moments (who doesn't?).

I submitted it for a Shutterfly Father's Day contest mostly because, well one I'd like to win the prize, and two because my mom thinks it's a great picture (she's biased) so maybe someone else will too?  Of the pictures submitted mine's not the worst.  It's not the best.  But it's definitely not the worst and I'd put it on par with the top five.

My issue.  There are some folks with pictures of their military members with their kids, their father's who have died with their kids.  And those pictures are getting votes.  I don't want to take away from those pictures.  They are writing up their stories, about why folks should vote for them.

I'm not going to do that.  Because I don't want to.  Even though, my 33 year old husband survived major heart surgery and when he finally could hold his son again, I took this picture.

But I don't want to put that on fb.  He wouldn't like it.  So I'm not going to.  But this picture is sentimental too.  Not just because it's a beloved father son moment, but because after a very stressful two months ... things were getting better.
