G had a great time at the museum and here's the proof.  He liked the pilot seat but mostly he just loved exclaiming over all the model planes - large and small - that were all over the place.  And listening for the actual planes that were taking off from Love Field.

Cutie pie here is working on his dexterity and putting food in his mouth.  He likes finger food better than purees.  So we do cheerios and those rice cake things.  Both he likes.  Gotta watch him like a hawk because he's a bit young (since he pulled up for the first time this weekend he's not really too young) and he choked once.  But it worked out.  I survived (and survive) G so nothing spooks me.

The dogs nose is almost all black again.  I don't know what caused her nose to go pink.  I blamed stress.  I think most people would have rushed her to the vet but I don't operate like that.  I did a google search and talked to my sis (another former vet tech) and we decided that without multiple symptoms I'd end up doing a battery of tests to just find out it was stress from the move and being left with my brother.  It could have been a fungus of some kind but I was fairly positive that if it were, she'd have had other symptoms.

Lewis got me potted plants for mother's day that we planted in the backyard.  G is all about gardening.  Why so close to the fence?  Because plants need shade and we just figured this was the best chance that they wouldn't completely cook.  I am not convinced the poor plant will make it.  Texas summers are hard on the hardiest plants.

G loves gardening.  We have planted several things.  A sunflower seed (died).  And marigolds ... no not marigolds.  Grr the other hardy plant that usually is in hanging pots.  I forgot the name.  We planted it.  No word on whether or not it will make it.  Now the jasmine.  Which I'm not sure.  I'm not positive about the jasmine.  The card claims it can handle 90 degrees.  Since we get a solid fifteen degrees higher than that routinely ... I am doubtful about our success.

My kids are the best.  I wish I knew how to "fix" Chalupa's sleep issues.  I think it's hunger related, truly.  Dinner time is a cluster still and I have to feed G, always a circus, and I need to start feeding Chalupa too.  I think once he gets on three regular meals this night issue will go away.  Hope hope hope.  I mean it's not terrible.  Last night he woke up at 1130 hungry.  Then went back to bed until 645.  So very doable.  I just don't want to be doing bad things.  But as my friend told me, I'm taking care of his every need.  That's not wrong.
