Unspeakable

I can't even begin to fathom what those mommies are going through in CT.  I can't imagine.  I look at my two young sons and I think about taking G to school and going about my day and waiting to pick him up at 2.

I can not imagine if somewhere along that day, he didn't get to come home to me.

I tell him every pre-school day, "we're going to go to school, and play, and sing songs, and read stories, and eat lunch, and take a little rest, and then what happens?"  Mommy comes!  "That's right, mommy always comes."

But that's not true is it?  I can't promise that, can I?  But I do, and I will continue to.  Because as long as there is breath in me I will always be there.

I can't imagine, feeling that same way, as I'm sure those mother's do, they went to pick up their baby and couldn't.  That some mad man, in a split second, changed the course of their life forever and ended the life of their prescious baby.

I am so sad.  So sad.  There's nothing to do.  Nothing.  Can't throw money at it.  Can't send canned goods.  Can't do anything.  Helpless in this.  I can only pray and in that I don't understand.  Dear God I don't understand.  There is no answer to why.  18 young souls were called to heaven and called to Jesus's side and I just scream why couldn't they stay with their mommies!

I hug my own babies and it just hurts my heart because I know that somewhere a parents arms are empty.

I just read via StalkerBook this good post:  "This just proves that there is good and evil.  This person has choosen evil.  Those of us that choose good must continue to choose good."

I'm so sad.
