Sunday Lazy Sunday

We should be better people and do more on Sunday. But we don't. Sometimes we make it out for breakfast. Sometimes we don't. This past Sunday ...

Saturday night Lewis and I went out to dinner with friends to a $25 bottomless pour wine tasting event. So we didn't get home until close to 11PM and didn't get to bed until after that.  G had gone to bed somewhat early, probably just after 7.  Blessedly, he slept in until almost 8:30 Sunday morning, which is delightful for mommy.

I made breakfast, we played around the house, we tried to straighten the garage, Lewis messed with his grand plan to have all media devices in our house wirelessly connected and all media files stored in one central location and those devices pulling from that one central hub.

I went through pictures for my Dad's retirement project, we played in the playroom, I lost track of time and G got fussy so we had to have a quick lunch than down to bed.  We have decided G is a forager.  For lunch yesterday he had pistachio's, grapes and strawberries.  He's part squirrel after all.

Lewis and I watched the rest of season 1 of Breaking Bad ... which is a well done, bad show.  There really aren't any good people on it.  The first season is really short (7 episodes) and it is one of those high arching shows that you just have to know what's going to happen to these terrible people.  Apparently season 5 (the final season) started last night.  End of aside.

After that I got the camera out.  Which after the trip to the arboretum has a spot on it??  I'm wondering if it's in the view finder.  I very gently tried to clean the lens / mirrors with a q-tip but the spot is still there.  It's not showing up on the pictures so I'm thinking it must be the view finder.

Grady still loves the "button" and wants to push it all the time.  I figure these will be some of the last "just the three of us" pictures.  As Lewis continually likes to say ... we have 8 weeks left.  50 days.  And then I get no sleep.

This picture needs work (the one above).  If I could get my photoshop working it would be done already, but it isn't so it's not.  Maybe someday you'll see it.  Look at those two boys.  They do look a lot alike.

These are focused on the feet and the baseball mitt.  Which ... eh.  But it's really hard to take pictures of an unwilling 2-year-old and get the focus just right.

32 weeks this week.  8 weeks left.  50 some odd days.  Than the world will get to see the newest little member of our family, and we start the "growing" process.  I'm very excited about another year of firsts; first Halloween, first Christmas, even though he'll be too young to get anything out of either of those events.  I'm not really worried about the labor or anything, I mean, not really, mostly I'm concerned about someone taking care of G while I'm in the hospital for 2 days.  Lewis should be able to go home more this time.

It's crazy.  8 weeks.  I'm having a baby this quarter, as Lewis said.  Please keep saying prayers for a healthy, hearty child.
