Neighborhoods love having parades on the 4th of July. I never knew this till I bought a house. We usually just watched from our front porch, but this year ... well they promised something special that I knew the little man would enjoy!
So we hitched up our wagon, with sparse decorations, and we made our way.
He is very patriotic.
And then he saw it. Coming down the road to lead our parade into greatness.
The Frisco Fire Department. All the kids loved it. They road their bikes and had streamers and it was great fun. It was blazing hot - because its Texas in July - but it was good fun.
Happy Independence Day everyone! I hope you all celebrate our freedom in wonderful waves of red, white and blue!
