32 Weeks

From And so we grow...

How many times can a person post a blog about being 32 weeks.  Well, apparently at least twice.  I have no idea what a jicama is, (my snobby "I-worked-produce" husband says it's a grainy - excuse me, fibery - fruit) but apparently the baby is as big as one.  The baby is practically done baking.  He's pretty much just going to get fatter between now and his birthday.

I have done awesome and only gained 20lbs (thus far).  I anticipate I will put on another 7-8 between now and due date, so I'll be somewhere near 30 when I'm done.  I gained nearly 40lbs total last time, which I did not care about, not one lick, but I feel like I've done good this time around.  Although, I do think that had I gained more, earlier, this time, perhaps he would have more room to move around and his sharp elbows (or knees) wouldn't be hurting me quite so much.

We have a baby name.  I'm still not telling you what it is.  I reserve the right to change my mind.  I sort of think the child has to come out and you have to, you know, ask them, or see them or something, before you can ink that name on the birth certificate.  And I'm a strange person, but I think of the baby as "baby."  It will take me weeks (at least it did with G) to think of the new baby as his name, and not as baby.

Either way everything else is all normal, normal pregnancy stuff.  32 weeks.  Who can believe it.
