Anyone else dislike the txt only posts?  I do.  But it's nap time and I'm watching 3yo for his mama so I can't nap and I'd rather rant here.

Our President.  Lord help us all.  The private sector is doing fine?  Does he even live anywhere near someone who works in the private sector?  While it's not the crumbling mess it was in 2009 it's no great shakes and lots of companies are threatening layoffs this year.  I'm not entirely sure why.  Some companies are / were going to be doing bad anyway (Best Buy, JC Penney, etc) because they didn't keep up.  But still!  Fine?  Really?  He says it's doing fine?  What was he thinking?

Well I know what he was thinking.  He hears about state budgets all the time and wants to find ways to fleece the cow some more and give those budgets a boost.  That means the "rich" private sector has to pay more into the state coffers.

I just wish they'd look at the elections lately and understand that people are okay with a certain level of austerity and cuts.  I know public sector employees don't want to hear that.

But, teachers, for instance.  In Wisconsin.  They don't want to pay more for their health insurance and they don't want to put anything into their own pensions.  So they cry and scream, not understanding that private sector folks have had increased premiums for decades, and lost their pensions years ago.  So for public sector folks to lose theirs too ... sort of seems fair.

But they don't pay attention.  They just scream and cry.  They don't understand they are asking their neighbor, who's been laid off for six months, to pay for them to have full retirement benefits while he has none.

85% of the country works in the private sector.  The private sector is the engine that runs everything.

I'm depressed I'll Have Another scratched.  I really wanted to root for a triple crown winner.  So sad.  I hope they don't have to euthanize the horse.  It doesn't sound like they will.  Sounds like they are not taking any chances so they don't hurt their stud fees?  Maybe.

We will never know for sure if the WH leaked TS info on the cyberattack used on Iran.  We will never know.  It's suspected, and anyone with a pulse is pretty sure it came from the WH, whether knowingly or unknowingly is at question.  If they did it deliberately (an election year ploy) SHAME ON THEM.  If it was done without their knowledge ... what the heck kind of Mickey Mouse organization are they running?  We have no credibility from a foreign policy stand point.  Our allies don't think we're very nice folks to be friends with and our enemies laugh at us.  In two years, pending some huge change (which I don't even see Romney doing, to be honest) we're going to be paying Iran huge amounts of "don't bomb anyone!" money.  Just like we do Pakistan.

can you imagine is GW had said anything like this in the last year or so of his term? It is amazing to me how much stupidity comes from this guy's mouth and how the media doesn't cover it. I think this is what the media has been doing all of my life. example-JFK everyone knew he had multiple women and knew he had sever medical problems but no reports. If it were anyone on the other side had done that it would have been all over the papers. How many other things have be been told just what the media wants us to know and no more. It makes me sick.
