So we went from moving our own house, to coming to Abq and helping my parents move. By "helping" I mean G and I just stay out of the way because I'm not lifting anything and I've packed a few boxes but not really. So helping is really the wrong word to use.
So yesterday I took G to the zoo here. It was hot and very crowded and it just wasn't ... a good day. He enjoyed the seals and sea lions (hence mostly pics of that) and the turtle. But it got hot really quick (and it was 1030) so we made a hasty tour and then left.
Today we spent some time at the new house. We went to old town and I got some balloon items for the new nursery (yippee!) and then to the new house. G really likes Granddad's old chair. But the house is really something else ... and I thought I should take pictures, even in it's current "we're moving" state.
From top left: Dining room with an amazing ceiling and amazing tiled floor. The front entry way (at the other end of the great room) with a matching tiled floor and an amazing bronze(?) celing (far right). The ceiling in the living room, and for some reason I didn't get one of the living room. Kitchen is the two on the bottom left. The fridge has that cool matching the cabinets thing. It has 4 cooling trays, a heating tray, a butlers pantry with wine stuff, two sinks ... it's fancy.
From top left: Master bedroom, spare room, master bath, spare room closet, masterbedroom closet, spare room bathroom (all three bedrooms have their own onsuite baths.
And the outsides ... top left is the backyard off the living / great room. The front of the house. G looking up at mommy. The middle courtyard, and G again, hiding.
Click to enlarge all the pics of course. They don't really do it justice. It's a hacienda, for sure, and it's landscaping needs some color (like yellow flowering cactus) but it's lovely. There's a spa in the courtyard and a water fixture just off that main patio area.
Pics of my belly are 23w and 6d.
