24 Weeks

From And so we grow...

If you don't like my gratuitious baby 2 posts I'm sorry.  But I didn't do a great job of writing stuff down with G and I'm trying to do better.  Plus these monthly (or close enough) pics are one thing that #2 will have that G did not.

I've been big this whole second pregnancy, I feel.  But either I'm eating too much (very possible) or this kid is hitting his growing stride.

According to this silly website for us silly women who like to know such things ... he's the size of an ear of corn, and weighs about a pound.  I really thought I'd have no use for such sites this time around, you know me being a veteran expert and all.  HA. I still wonder what size he is now.  Still wonder what he's doing in there now.  Apparently I didn't hold onto that information the first time round.

His kicks are more pronounced and we're pretty confident that Daddy can probably feel them now.  We shall see.  Babies stop doing anything when it's expected of them.

24 weeks and kicking along.  I can't complain.  Easy, no complications pregnancy thus far (praise God).  Just normal aches and pains of carrying extra weight and growing a human.  Please God he continues to grow in there and comes out somewhere in the 40/41w range.  I know by July I'll be really uncomfortable with the heat and the weight but I think babies do better if they can stay in there as long as possible, as long as is safe.  If he's not here by or before the 12th of September, I'd imagine he'll be born the 18th or 20th.

And then the fun really begins!
