EE Update

G's appetite has fallen off.  The past two weeks it's back to a few bites of one thing and then finished.  He requests juice all day long (to stave off hunger) and he'll eat purree'd food with vigor but not much else (peaches, some grains, not much proteins).  He started coughing again.

It was a matter of time.

He threw up yesterday after we got home.

I called the doctor this morning and we're back on the medicine.  It hurts my heart but he has to eat.  From the previous post, I think this is also why I didn't take many pictures; I was on G alert all weekend waiting for the vomit and hoping he would eat.  And it's stressful when it's a meal time and the other children are heartily eating and G is cranky and only drinking juice.

As I have said many times to those that say he only eats yadda yadda yadda?  Yes, and I'm done giving him an eating disorder trying to rectify it.  No more crying at meal times (I'm a broken record, I'm sure I've written this before).  No more stress.  If he wants crackers, crackers he gets.  I'm not going to push green beans because everyone else thinks it's what he should eat and have him push it away repeatedly and sob in his high chair.  It's not worth it.

He gets a year.  Maybe more.

And dear Lord in Heaven, please, please, let his sibling be a hearty eater.  Please please let peer pressure push new foods on G.  I'll wait till he's three or four, he can eat whatever until then.  But some where along the line ... please ... he should at least TRY pasta.
