What's Making me Mad
The list just grows and grows ... being called niave is on top of the list at the moment. Unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLE. If you and I, dear friend, are engaged in a political discussion, as heated as I may get, it will be rare for me to say anything about you personally. Like all people, my life and my situation has shaped my opinions, just the same as you. So I would hope, dear friend, that out of courtesy, you won't say something personal about me, in a condscending way like, "I think you're being niave."
Really, son? Cause I don't care what you think about me. What do you think about what I said???
I might explode.
And the list adds on ...
David Axelrod is going on Bill Maher. I mean he's upset with Romney because he won't disown Limbaugh, but Bill Maher? That guy? Oh yeah he's fine. I'll go support his show and therefore say the Presidents campaign supports that show. I mean what's wrong with him? Nothing. Forget that he's defending Rush Limbaugh (I mean he HAS to, because he says the same crap about every conservative woman ever). Read that whole article - it has the point of this whole thing nailed. Anyway - do I need to go into what Bill Maher has said about Sarah Palin? I mean it's awful stuff. He has the right to say it. His fans love it. His supporters love it. What I don't love - is the President of the United States saying he wants his daughters to be able to say/defend/support what they want without fear, but he doesn't think that Sarah Palin deserves the same. And holy moly if someone said half the things about me that were said about Sarah Palin ... I would probably hide. But because there's a lot of people who don't like her, no one really thinks much of her getting attacked.
Leon Pannetta thinks the President only needs permission from NATO and international friends to go to war (this comes up because of Syria). I want to vomit. Really? No constitution? No Congressional authority? Really?
And then there's half of Obama's top donors get "plum" jobs. Sigh. I don't know how unusual this is.
Then there's the process of selling my house and getting all the nitty gritty details right and how frustrating that all is. And I have to go get my taxes done. Sheesh.
