As a general rule I think St. Patty's day is a dumb excuse for folks to go party. In fact, when I was in college I don't remember it being that big of a deal (but we used to have parties on Tuesday's, for no reason at all, so maybe it was).
But Target had cutesy St. Patty's stuff in the $1 bin and I couldn't resist. You must forgive the tieing of the tie. I did it quickly and it's not awesome. But the point is made.
Smiles used to be easier to get out of him. Just a couple peek a boos from behind the camera and he'd start to giggle eventually. Now? Well the camera is just an attachment to his mom. So what do I do now? Candy. The chocolate treasure worked very well in this instance.
This was a peek a boo smile from under the hat. Pretty cute. There will be many more pictures this month, as the blue bonnets are about to be in full flourish on the hill around the corner and I'm probably gonna take him there next week. So more graituitous pictures to come. You are warned.
