Notes

We're putting the house on the market in two weeks.  This means the realtor's been here, the stager's been here and they've all had lots of opinions and advice.  Most of which centers around the word 'declutter.'  Which is not a surprise by any means.

So we've got the storage unit.  It's been packed up with stuff.  But there's more stuff to put in there.  I think our storage unit needs to be about the size of our house.

And there's white linens to buy (because it's more spa like) and more appropriate picture sizes (because mine are just not right).  And there's painting to do (a need to do, not a have to do) and windows to replace (a have to do) and window blinds to buy (a have to do).  There's a lot.

Then there's living in a staged house.  Let me not even begin to say how hard this is going to be with a toddler.  Let us hope that my imagining of how bad it's going to be is not true, and it goes smoothly without incident and I keep my sanity.

I should be doing more work right now.  Instead I'm sitting here watching television and writing this drivel.

In other news, the computer broke.  The mother board imploded.  Which is awesome.  Which also means there will be a shortage of pictures until I figure out how to pay for everything the house needs and get a new computer.  The laptop would be an option, however, the card reader has been packed away and is in the storage unit.  Way to go timing.  So no pictures of the trip to Kentucky (which was fun).  Hopefully I get this situation fixed soon ... because there's a certain birthday coming up that needs to be memorialized.

Which brings us to G.  At almost 22 months old he's doing very well.  His appetite seems to be much better though he's still picky and only eats like 10 things.  But I have heard from others that there are many kids his age that are just like that.  I feel like I repeat myself, but there really isn't any new news on that front.  The next endoscopy is next Tuesday.  Prayers please.

G is talking like a champ.  I worried about a week ago because he seemed to stop speaking, but than this past weekend he just started stringing words together.  And repeating things.  He says Toy Story now.  His father thinks it's hillarious.  He still says Buzz.  The only useful thing about this is bribery.  Put away your toys and we'll watch Buzz.  If you eat all your dinner you can watch Buzz.  It's remarkably effective.  It's annoying.  He talks about Toy Story all day long.  He loves the dinosaur (and says dinosaur).  And he loves Buzz.  I sort of wish I had never introduced him to it at Christmas.  But, live and learn.

What else ... I think that's enough.  Between the house selling (not to mention buying - don't get me started on how that's going to go) and the computer breaking and the staging ... it's going to be a very quick spring.
