I have lots of really important things to say. None of them are going to be in this post.
...We got home from a great holiday weekend - to the heater being out. This is a first world problem. First world problem. I have a fireplace. I layered up the baby. But oh my Lord in heaven I'm tired of fixing the HVAC issues with this house.
...G has not thrown up since we took him off the soy milk. We have a new doctor because in a tragic twist, our first pedi gastro has cancer, and is taking time off. The new doctor I spoke with on the phone and I liked him a lot, but the more I think about the conversation the more apprehensive I get. There are certain diagnosis's that I want to avoid, but I want to trust my medical professionals. But I want to be a mindful consumer. But I want to listen to experts. But I want to protect myself from professional mistakes. This tight rope walking is not easy for me. And hurts my brain.
.... I'm still upset about the heater thing.
... G is a very good boy in the car. Seriously he just sits back there and plays. He gets fussy sometimes and we'll reach a hand back there and tickle him a bit and he's a-okay. We hand him toys sometimes, food, his sippy cup, and he just rides along. We only stopped once on the way home today. I hope he's good on the airplane next week.
... I'm not looking forward to the airplane next week.
... I get old and I get tired. I am just so tired. There are pictures to load and look at and edit and I haven't even done that. Nothings unpacked, nothings put away. I took care of the kid and got him settled and that's about it. I can't even get motivated to feed myself. Now I'm watching Texas Tech play Baylor (Lewis is at the game, btw). Which so far we're losing, but only by a field goal, which is a better showing than I thought we'd do. Considering last week we lost a game we were leading most of to Missouri and the week before that we got slaughtered by OSU.
