From _Lightroom
So only two days into this experiment of no soy milk and on the medications and I can report the following; he has not thrown up, and his appetite seems improved.  I don't know how to quantify that last one, except that in the evening - where he use to fuss and refuse food - he now eats his entire dinner (a whole sandwhich tonight) and then goes to the pantry and asks for more food (cookies and raisins tonight).

At lunch he ate three McDonald's chicken nuggets (don't judge - I was raised on them and I'm okay).  Three.  That's unheard of.  I searched the back seat of the car when we got home, sure I'd find where he threw them.  But it certainly appears like he ate them.

I am hoping that with a more even tummy, he will be more pliable toward trying new foods.  But as it is we're going to maintain our limited diet and not go too nuts pushing other items (like the food I actually make for the grown-ups) until much later.  He needs the bland diet anyway.

It's a long road to go but I'm certainly encouraged.  And I got some really great pictures today.  I have to say, I think I'm getting better at this photography thing!

This picture here ... I struggle to get definition in G's eyes.  The camera (and photoshop) likes to remove all contrast from them and make them very black.  I can never seem to get enough light into the lens where it can pick up the colors and variations there, if that makes sense.  It doesn't help that G spends most of the time with his eyes downcast, watching so he doesn't trip and fall.  But this is why you'll notice some of my pictures tend to bend more towards over exposed then under, because I really want the lens to pick up all the variations there, sometimes at the cost of the rest of the shot.  I need to do more digging on tips and tricks to find a good way to do this (so far the best is, have your subject look into your light source - all fine and dandy when your subject is willing, my toddler, not so much!).

But, this picture here, like I was saying, is one of my better attempts.  I will get the shot I want ... don't you worry.  I'm stubborn like that.

Not certain you were Raised on Chicken McNuggets. I think fish sticks were pretty popular until Meg's came along then Nuggets were more prevalent. Brian's food of choice was hotdogs.

Love his eyes here! And it looks like you're getting good at playing with your aperture to get that nice blurred background.
