A terrible human being

Paul Krugm.an is a terrible human being.  TERRIBLE.  In his real life, he's probably okay.  But what he writes, the slop that he espouses just makes me want to throw up on him.

Today, he writes an awful column saying that Republicans and Conservatives took advantage of 9/11 and used it for political purposes.  He calls for unity, but his words divide.  And the reason is because he doesn't feel that Republicans or Conservatives are people.  He wants unity of opinion.  Everyone agree with him.  Everyone do what he thinks is right.  His version of unity is conformity to his view of the world.

To which I say no.  In fact, I shout no.

People, even conservatives, were deeply affected by 9/11.  They were called to act.  That call to action was different for every individual.  Some people rekindled old relationships, realizing how precious time was.  Some people changed jobs, moved away.  Some people joined the armed services, called to serve.  The call to action was different for everyone, but everyone was affected, even people with different political leanings.

Krugm.an is a rotten man.  And a coward for not allowing comments.  But it's typical.  He doesn't want to hear opposing views, only affirmations of his own liberal progressive drival.

He is so similar to the rotten Rahm Emmanual who said, "never let a crisis go to waste."  He would have used (or would use) 9/11 to weaken the American psyche, humble us, lower our expectations and use it for moral equivalency to show that Americans do bad things worldwide and deserve what happened to us.

What actually happened, the banding around the flag, the surge of patriotism, the rallying around the President (now matter how short lived) infuriates him.

And I feel sorry for him and his crankiness and his foulness.

He is a terrible human being. He seems to be full of hate. The fact that he and Al Gore have Noble prizes are a testament to the politics of the Noble committee.
Silence on his part would have been a better way to go.
