In which I bite off more camera than I can chew
I took the plunge. I bought a DSLR. For a person like myself who loves pictures and taking them, you might say this has been a long time coming. I just could never justify the expense before. But G moves around so much now, my pictures were suffering. Have you ever tried to get a one year old to hold still? It's impossible. And the lag on my old point and shoot was murder. Add to that I borrowed my friends DSLR a few weeks ago and it's instant picture taking had me hooked.
Now, I took a photography class in high school, so I have limited knowledge of fstops and aperture and ISO. But it's like mush in the sand trap that is my mind. I will be taking classes, me thinks. And practicing. Of course.

What's blooming around here. Really all of this is about to stop blooming, because it's about to be too hot to breath around here, let alone grow.
