First Easter Egg Hunt
So Baby Boot Camp aka Stroller Fit has a bunch of positives. First positive, I'm eight pounds lighter than I was BEFORE I got pregnant. Second positive, I've made some great mommy friends. Third positive, Grady has made some great kid friends. Fourth positive, the social programs that we get to enjoy.
Like today's Family Day and Easter Egg Hunt. Lewis came with us (all Family members and Daddy's are invited) and worked out with me for the hour and then afterwards we had an Easter egg hunt.
Grady has no interest in Easter Eggs except that they are shiny, brightly colored and - GASP - plastic! The much beloved plastic. He had a great penchant for the green ones! Which surprised me. As he's 11.5 months old, he was not greedy. Two green eggs and two other colored eggs (those at mom's encouragement) were all he needed.
The basket was part of a baby gift basket that I got from Lewis's parents before Grady was born. Who knew it would come in so handy! Grady even made attempts to drop the eggs into the basket, but he quickly retrieved them. He wanted to chew on them.
PS - after an hour of working out with me, Lewis said the instructor was a "drill sargeant" and he said to my friend, "I can't believe you guys come back." To which we laughed. We had to run a half mile and I finished in 4 minutes even and Lewis finished at 4:50! Tee-hee. I was showing off a bit, and it was good motivation to want to beat my husband. He knew we worked out (my weight loss is evidence of this) but I don't think he realized how intensely we do it. I am glad he got to see it.
