Waiver waivers everywhere, and yet not one for me
You can not make this stuff up. You just can't. If it weren't such a damnable atrocity, it would be hillarious comedy.
One of Obamacare's - oh I'm sorry, the Affordable Health Care Act's biggest proponents, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) is now looking into a waiver for New York City. Because Obamacare may not make sense for the particular needs of that area.
Previously, he loved the bill. Best bill ever, the bill is so great, it must pass. It'll help everyone. Blah blah blah.
Oh but now? It's not good enough for the 10 million New Yorkers he hopes to get elected by.
As of late January, there have been more than 700 waivers issued. Including waivers to 4 state governments, Massachusetts, Maine, Tennessee and Ohio, and one waiver for an ENTIRE STATE, Maine.
Seriously folks? This many waivers and we still think this bill is a good idea?
Repeal, rewrite.

It's quite disgusting actually. He verbally abused (yelled at) Republican congressman on the floor of the House because they were opposed to the legislation, and now he wants waivers for the biggest city in the country so he can win their votes.
