I don't understand
Westboro Church. I don't understand them at all. I don't understand why they would want to protest the funerals of the victims of the Arizona shooting. I don't understand how they can say the things they say. I don't understand them at all. They are so unChristian it just sort of ... boggles.
From a PR stand point, I get it. The funerals, especially of pretty Christina Green and Federal Judge Jon Roll, are certain to be televised. What better exposure? But it's so grotesque and reprehensible. So heinous, in fact, that in order to keep them from making such a spectical, radio stations in Tucson are giving the evil church airtime in order to keep them away.
I don't understand. I really, really don't.

And you know, the pundits, politicians and others that are trying to politize this ... they are exactly the same as Westboro Church and its protesting. Using a tragedy to further their own agendas.
To add to things that I don't understand ... hypocrisy! ABC News at the bottom of the linked story says that Sarah Palin has found a way to insert herself into this story. Really? Did she post pictures of maps used by her PAC and say that she was to blame for this violent act? She did that all herself? She was being critized just yesterday for not saying anything at all. Today, she's attacked for making it about herself by saying something.
Reading this stuff, talking about this stuff and listening to these media types talk out of both sides of their mouths is an exorcise in patience. It's like arguing with a child. It makes no sense. It's entirely based on the childs perspective, their own thoughts. Facts enter not at all.
