2010: Summation

Pretty much sums it up.

Our year was dominated by little guy and his antics.  But we did manage to get some fun things in.  Mammoth skiing, Louisville, Denver, Albuquerque, Houston, Grand Canyon (though how fun that was is debatable ;) ), Pittsburg ... I think that was all the travel.  Slightly less than in years past, but only slightly.

Next year?  What do I want for next year?

Again, Grady dominates.  I'd like to get back East and visit, we didn't do that this year.  Grady has yet to meet his Great Grandmother Margaret or his Uncle Jason, both things I'd like to rectify this year.  I'd like to spend less, put more money away.  I'd like to keep losing weight.  I'd like to make more mommy friends, spend more time with the mommy friends I've made.

I'm excited to meet my newest cousin!  Who is still baking but is due in a number of weeks!  Babies are tremendous work but they bring everyone so much joy. I want to meet our friends new adopted daughter at the airport!  Because I think that's going to be a huge moment, and I'm honored they invited us to be there.  We are expecting 8 new little ones next spring!  Four boys, two girls, and two I don't know yet.  I know it's just the age ... but I love it!

2010 was a great year for us.  We are so blessed.  So lucky.  We safely brought home a healthy child.  And he's continued to thrive.  I could not have asked for anything more.
