Harry Potter Weekend

So this "tradition" started in 2008 2009 when Megan got married. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out the weekend before she got married, so we all decided that we would wait until the wedding to see the movie, so we could all go together.

For Deathly Hallows, Dad said we should all get together in Dallas (a central location) so that we could all go see it together again. I know this sounds insane to many people (including my brother in law), but we are not able to get together as a family but a few times a year (usually twice), and holidays are divided amongst many family.

So we got together this weekend, carefully dubbed Harry Potter Weekend, and I bought everyone Harry Potter glasses because go big or go home, right? Grady was with a sitter for the movie (which is pretty intense! not for wee ones!) and then we had a mini Thankgiving meal for dinner. Fun was had by all!
