A Tisket a Tasket

1. So we bought a bouncer for Grady just after he turned 4 months.  He liked it oh-kay, but lately he's really digging it as he's figured out how to get his legs under him and dance around in it.  So right now, for instance, he's just jumping up and down and smiling at me with his "mommy look at me!" face and hitting the buttons that are "teaching" him English, Spanish and French.

2. He LOVES the Baby Einstein robin.  Every where he sees it he reaches for it and wants it.  I find this funny.

3. Rolling over is our new favorite thing.  Well, one of them.  We try to roll over into walls, into the back of the couch, all over the floor.  Once he figures out how to get his knees under him, it's on.

4. The rolling over thing has pretty much ruined the swing.  On the plus side: I'm closer to get the monsterous thing out of my living room.  On the minus side: it was the ultimate in freeing up mommy to make dinner / laundry, etc.

5. I think, now that we are 6 months, I need to get more adventerous with the solid foods thing.  This I will talk to the doctor about.  Because, um, I have no idea what to feed him next.

6. Teething?  Yeah teething bites.

7.  See what I did there?  Teething bites?  Yeah it was funny.  LAUGH.

8.  Grady now looks at me when we're reading a book and I make the animal noises.  He's looking at the book and then I'll go "baa!" and he turns to look at me quickly like, "what the heck was THAT?"

9. I've taken his pictures for the Halloween cards.  Oh yes, there are Halloween cards.  And they are too cute.  My second child is so screwed.

10. I have the cutest, bestest baby in the whole world.  The world voted, Grady won.  He is the smiley-est, laughy-est, happiest little dude.  I have not for one second regretted my decision to stay home with him.  But when he's his super cute, laughy self it makes me super glad I'm here to see it.

10a.  I can not BELIEVE it's almost been six months.  Can. not. believe.
