When we were kids growing up, probably starting when I was 10 or 11, my mom did the same thing for our birthday's every year.
And it was soooo annoying!
It was always super early. On a school day or weekend, didn't matter. It would start low, and then get louder, and louder, and louder, and LOUDER until you had to get out of bed! It was really loud.
It was the Happy Birthday song played on our sound system turned up SUPER loud. Loud enough to wake up neighbors loud. And it was from this CD that we then played all the way through and I remember being a kid and dancing around the living room with my siblings to all of the songs. And I loved them.
Well it has taken me quite some time to find this CD, with is Sharon, Lois and Bram Elephant Party. It was never available to download through iTunes (still isn't) but I did a google search and low and behold! There's a download!
I'm super excited that I get to annoy my own child every year on his birthday too! :)
