A Late Birthday Present

So when I found out I was pregnant, I wanted to start doing baby things!  I had all these great ideas for things I would knit or sew!  I started baby booties, I started a cross stitch for his room, and I started the above baby blanket.  I got pretty far, but then I got further into the pregnancy and you know, actually had to start planning things, and the blanket got abandoned.

Not to mention I got frustrated with my own lack of skill.  This blanket has probably 4-5 holes that just irk me.  It's not a large blanket, by any means.  It'll be of best use in the car seat for his tiny legs.

I had meant to have it finished so he could have it to come home from the hospital in.  Oh well.  Better late than never.
