First the Rings? Now this?
This story isn't going to help the rumor mill that was already in a tizzy over President Obama not wearing his wedding ring at the press conference last week, or Mrs. Obama not wearing her ring (I can't remember where I read this, but it was right after the Spain trip maybe?).
Alright I'm teasing. I haven't worn my wedding ring regularly in like 6 months. I'm still married. Promise. Lewis forgets to wear his wedding ring all the time. Press corps please move on to more important stories.
But ... Carla Bruni (Nicholas Sarkozy's wife - First Lady of France) may have just delivered some more bad PR to the First Lady who really needs the opposite. For those of who not wanting to follow the link, in a new book, Carla disclosed a private conversation she had with Mrs. Obama last March in which Mrs. O said she hated being America's first lady.
Well, Mrs. O, the voters in this country may fix that problem for you come 2012. Promise.

2 - There is not one racist remark in this post or any other on this blog. And you're argument that I'm racist is really just useless. What do I say to that? No I'm not? What does race have to do with the fact that President Sarkozy's wife quoted Mrs. Obama in a book?
I do not like President Obama because I do not care for his politics. At all. He is ultra liberal and I'm a conservative. He thinks government is the way, the truth and the light and I think government is best when it's limited and controlled by the people. I disagree with his Health Care Bill because I think it's bad for medicine and for patients. I disagree with Cap and Trade, because I think it's bad for everyone to take energy that's cheap and readily available and make it so expensive as to make the poorest among us suffer. I disagree with his stimulus packages that "create" jobs by starting government projects and only hiring union workers. And not any union workers, only CERTAIN union workers. Those that paid the highest amount to his campaign.
I don't like that he plays golf every Sunday afternoon and I don't like that he spent the entire summer on vacation while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet.
Nothing there is racist. If he was a yellow and pinked stripped person and doing those same things, I would dislike him.
For something positive - I believe his children to be adorable and his family seems lovely. So he must be an okay father, so that's one thing.
I would ask though, if you think it's appropriate for the First Lady of the United States of America to tell the French First Lady, that her job is hell and she hates it? Is that okay? What do you think about that?
