Adventures with Food: Sweet Potatoes
It's sort of funny to introduce a new food to Grady. He makes this face like, "Oh Dear Heaven WHAT IS THAT?" At least, he has with everything we've introduced. Except rice cereal, which I imagine tasted like the milk he is oh so familiar with.
But after the "Oh My I Am Not Sure" face, he eats it. The only thing that we actively would not eat was green beans. And this was probably my fault. We're going very slow with solids, as I'm a worrier and don't want to hurt his digestion.
Today, his latest discovery was that he can, in fact, blow raspberries while eating. And he can, in fact, get food on mommy. Which, either that or my look of surprise, tickled his funny bone. I don't have the laugh on camera (boo).
But, point of note, I don't think my giggling every time he blew bubbles in his food discouraged the behaviour much.
