Adventures in Sewing: Applique Bibs
If you remember from an earlier post, my friend Emily made Grady an airplane bib and sent me the pattern so I could try my hand at it. Well the above is that attempt! I made several mistakes (including, on my first try, ironing the adhesive to the wrong side of the fabric!) but this second attempt I think looks okay!
I need to work on my stitches and turning the fabric and all that, but that's a practice thing. The fabric is some I got in the remnant bin for like $.50. It's Air Force print! The button is one I just had lying around, hence it's not exactly perfect. But it's close. It's not on straight because, well, evidently my button sewing needs work too!
