Stroller Fit

Please don't laugh at me.  I don't think I could take it.

Tuesday morning Grady woke up about 8AM.  And after we had second breakfast (first breakfast was at 6) I thought ... I can either steal a few more minutes of sleep, or I can get myself in gear and go check out that mommy exorcise class.

What class, you say?  Well it's called strollerfit.  The premise of this is a workout where moms of young ones can bring said babies to their exorcise class.  Which makes it different from the classes at the gym.

I found this class online, it's local here, and it's in the morning, at 9AM.  It lasts one hour.  I should say that I'm all excited about losing weight.  I should say that I'm all excited about getting back in shape.  But neither of those are really way I paid the monthly fee and why I'll be going back on Thursday.

I need to make new friends.  I have friends.  But as a new stay at home mom, I need friends that have children that are staying home too.  I need the support.

I've been twice.  I feel better about myself when I go.  It will take some time to make friends (it always does) but I have high hopes.  And even if I don't, I'll get the side benefit of losing weight.  Win - win!

I think they should put that on the lists of "things you need for baby"...5 onesies, 2 blankets, 4 bottles, and 3 friends at a similar place in life.

They most definitely should! I'm so grateful for my next door neighbor, who had her daughter 6 weeks after me. Her and her husband have been such great support through the whole process.
