So Lebron is going to Miami. I hope he's like Tracy McGrady and can't get out of the play-offs, because that'll be funny. He's been touted as the best little basketball player ever ... but he hasn't got a single ring. This whole episode has to really just stick in Kobe's craw. He has, what, 6 rings? Shouldn't he be the best player ever? I mean, excusing MJ of course, naturally.
I also think it's funny if taxes had something to do with Lebron's decision. If he went to the Knicks, he'd have had to pay over $12M in state income taxes. Florida, does not have state income tax. HA.
I'm still watching this oil spill nonesense and shaking my head in sadness. What are we doing? It's really starting to feel like they don't want it to stop so that they can say how bad big oil is and how we all need to get off oil and onto something else. Never let a crisis go to waste, and all that. How long are they going to let Anderson Cooper do his show live from the Gulf before they do something?
And, don't hate me, I love the World Cup, I think it's awesome for the same reason I think the Olympics are awesome. But ... big but ... I hate soccer. It's like watching track. And those damn whistle things made watching on television sooo annoying. And it was so much worse in HD! Vuvazela's in surround sound! Yuck!
I want to see how this Arizona thing pans out. So the Fed doesn't want to enforce the federal law, but the state does so they give their local forces the authority to enforce it, to which the Fed says no that's not right. I think this is another issue, like the Gulf issue, people up north could give two figs less about what happens in southern states. If it's not happening up there, it must not be happening.
