Another Baby Day!
My next door neighbors are in the hospital right now having a baby! It seems like just yesterday Lewis and I were waking up, making sure we had everything, and driving the short 5 or so miles to the hospital. It's been 6 weeks! Who can believe I've had him home that long?
We're doing good. Every day is different for Grady. We're smiling now, usually in the mornings when I change his first diaper. It is a very nice reward for my night shift efforts. Other than that he seems to just be taking everything in.
Lewis has been putting him to bed the past few nights. It's the strangest thing. I can put him down for naps and back to sleep after night time feedings, but he will not lay down for that first time part of the night. I start trying about 8 and he won't fall asleep until about 9 or 10. Someone needs to send him a memo ... bed time for small fries is 8 around these parts!
Today is laundry and cleaning day. Which is much more involved when you have to contend with small fry. :)
