Mexico's Money Maker: The United States
President Calderon had a meeting with the President and made some statements about how bad and racist the Arizona immigration law is. He also gave an interview to Wolf Blitzer where Wolf tried to get him to say that people from Guatamala and the other southern Mexico border countries are able to come into Mexico and work without fear of getting deported or jailed.
Well President Calderon can't say that, because they do deport them. And they do throw them in jail. And as a person who has limited experience with people getting thrown in Mexican jails ... they are not pleasant, they are not just, they are not ethical. There is no due process. There is no reporter who's going to cry racism and bring national attention to your plight. In fact, I would hope to have cash on hand, because that's the best and easiest way to get out of a Mexican jail.
Anyway. But President Calderon has to be agains the Arizona or any United States immigration policy, because of the 12 million illegals that are in this country, many, many of them work and send money back to Mexico. To the tune of billions of dollars. That's a huge money maker for a country that has limited exports and has lots of budget problems. The president of said country can't just let that revenue stream dry up. Or get deported home.
So his point of view is biased, and I don't care to hear it. I also don't want to hear from another White House official who hasn't read the Arizona law. It's 16 pages. They admittedly haven't read this. So we can now say, with utmost certainty, that no one read the Health Care Bill and it's 2,700 pages.
Our current government is a joke.
