Grady Baby
Grady is three weeks old today. Here are the things we have accomplished:
We have successfully left the house and ran errands, including groceries, without crying through the entire trip.
We (I) have gotten pretty good at functioning on 2 hour naps every three hours at night.
The above has made it possible for me to not only start his scrapbook (it's fabulous) and keep some semblance of order at the house. I've even made dinner a couple of times. I know these things are minor - but I take victories were I can.
I've also looked up a new newborn's meeting that's next month. The subtext on the website: "babies are always welcome." :)
Some notes:
Sex and the City (or any show that's 30 minutes in length) is good to watch when nursing. Season six (my favorite) is on demand right now. It's been super useful.
I needed more newborn diapers.
I need more burp cloths. I'm always looking around for one.
