Go for TWO!

You hear me Red Raiders?!?  Go for TWO!  I want to see back to back wins against the lousy Longhorns. Last year, as those who follow me know, we went to the game in Lubbock and it was single greatest football game EVER played.  EVER.

Let's keep that going, Raiders.  Remember how good it felt to beat them?  Remember?  The awesome euphoria that over came us all when Crabtree had that awesome play in the last seconds of the game?  Remember the rush of blood to the head in the opening drive when we got a safety?  Remember that?!  It signalled our resolve.  It showed our intentions.  It revealed our awesomeness.

So let's keep that going.  Let's get on that field and play like we've never played before.  Win it for Grahams.  Win it for Crabtree.  I know ... someone call Crabtree.  Tell him that if Tech wins in Austin, he HAS TO SIGN.  Let's do that.

Call Welker.  If Tech wins in Austin, Welker will catch 3 touchdowns in the SuperBowl.

My Texas Tech Red Raiders have the propensity to beat anyone that crosses the line of scrimmage.  They just have to resolve to be better, play hard, and TAKE THE BALL ACROSS THE GOAL.

DEFENSE.  DEFENSE.  DEFENSE.  They must stop them.  3 and out.  3 and out.  They must.  If our defense shows up and plays like they did last year, we can win this thing.

Potts.  You have big shoes to fill.  BIG.  Graham Harrell was the greatest.  I love him more than I loved Kliff Kingsbury, and that's saying something.  I had so much love for Kliff.  Kliff beat UT in 2002 at home in another great victory, and it was awesome.  He was the beginning of the Mike Leach era.  And what a good era it has been.

Today is national talk like a pirate day.  No coincidence, Mike Leach loves pirates.  It's a sign.

WRECK 'EM TECH!!  Let the BEVO-Q BEGIN!
