Give me a break

Will California exorcise their rights and get these clowns out of there?  Please?  There is nothing derrogatory about Ma'am.  She just wanted to put him in his place.

Now, if he had said, Ms. Boxer, that's an entirely different thing.  It's Senator Boxer.  Just as when a certain General we all know went to work for NASA and they called him Mr. So and So, I could tell by the look on his face that he just wanted to throttle the guy.

The man was a 4 star general!  He most definitely is NOT a mister.  Just like I'm not Miss H.  I'm Miss Stacy, or Mrs. H.

I just listened to it again.  It makes me roll my eyes.  Yes, Madame Senator, thank you Madame Senator.  Are you appropriately honored now?  Can we talk about what I'm here to discuss?

If your thinking of who I think your thinking of he had two stars. It is similar, but he at least didn't have the need to put his demands into the conversation. She was being condescending. She knows that, these guys in the Army Corp of Engineers for the most part try very hard to do their jobs. But they must do their jobs in the constraints that they are put under, not surprisingly, by congress. It would not be the first time that some Senator/Congressperson took a military member/government employee to task for not doing what congress had told him/her not to do or would not give them the money to do it. She is just trying to look good in front of the cameras.

I noticed that she didn't address him by ANY honorifics.

Looks like a little elitism in play there
