Things To Look Forward Too

Spring has Sprung! Baseball has started, the Astros home opener was last night!  And though they lost to the Cubs (groan) it was still great.  I love baseball.  The world is a happier place when baseball is on TV.

Sooo much traveling going on.  Going to Denver in May, Dayton in June and July (my sister's getting married!), Boston in July ... so exciting!  I love Boston in the summer.  Sigh.  Brother's trip in August.  Las Vegas in the fall!  Wisconsin for Christmas!  Oklahoma here at some point ... Kansas Memorial Day?

The Dallas Summer Musicals are about to start and I'm going to both Rent and Fiddler on the Roof!  I know, I know ... you're jealous.  It's okay.  There's probably still tickets.  You can come too!

A wine tasting with friends at the end of the month.  Our 3rd anniversary at the end of the month.  Mom and Dad coming to visit at the end of the month.  Family in town this weekend!  Johnny Cooper on Friday!  Spazmatics on the 17th!

A very good friends wedding in November! Two Three very good friends having babies this summer! (Two boys and one girl!)

Husband's 30th Birthday!  It's going to be huge.  You're all invited.  But shhh ... don't tell him.

Which reminds me ... I need to get the invitations ready for Megan's shower.  Time flies ...

You should be jealous, though, 'cause you didn't get to see my 7th grade production of Fiddler on the Roof. I was ripped off, though. I totally should have gotten the part of the youngest daughter. I had to settle for a townsperson.

Rent is one of my all-time favorites to see in person. When the guitar begins on "One Song Glory", I get chills.

The Royals opening day game was snowed out. That's just wrong. They should be taking the field in about 40 minutes.

Went to the Stros opener. Rather uneventful and a lifeless crowd. I don't know why other than low expectations for the year. Good news though, Roy didn't have great stuff and still went 7 only allowing 3. Bad news, our offense went dormant for four innings. Next time you're in town let me know a bit in advance and I'll see if I can finagle some tix from my source.

We were wondering if you went! I will definitely try and give you more than 30 minutes notice! ;)

Though at least I can tell the kids you are coming when you are getting into SW Houston. So far you haven't turned around at that point and devastated their tiny hearts (sarcasm? you tell me).
