Oldies
So in a mad dash to find something in the two rooms of my house that we never use (3 bedrooms, we only use one, so two are like ... well really big closets that occasionally a guest will sleep in!) I found some old CD's that have pictures on them from my days with film. There was about a year there when I processed film and had Wal-mart or walgreens (whoever had a deal on pic printing at the time) put those pictures on a CD. Thus, I could put them on my computer and start my fledgling archive.
By the way ... I have almost 20GB worth of pictures. I think that's impressive. And there organization is ... well one of my prized possessions and I think it's a work of art. When my external harddrive crashed and took with it a major portion of early to mid 2007, well it was devestating as you'll recall.
And, in case you are wondering, I now have copies upon copies of my pictures. They are online, they are on CD, they are backed up on my newer fancier, larger external harddrive. And they are on my new fancy computer, which is my valentine's day present! My old desktop was ... well 5 years old and made terrible loud noises when the fan kicked on (which was all the time) and sometimes it wouldn't turn on. The new one is Dell refurbished and we get a discount which is why we buy Dell.
ANYWAY. Apparently I wanted to ramble today. But, to the items I found today. CD's from Walmart and Walgreens with pictures from 2004. Some of which were lost in the Great Crash of 2007 (can not believe it was that long ago ... feels like yesterday). But ... they made me smile.

Megan's 21st Birthday. I dragged her to the zoo. I liked it. She was tired.
TCU at Texas Tech in 2004. GREAT game. For Tech. Not so much the horned frogs. :( They got us back though in 2006.
Walking up to the TCU at Army game.
