Exorcising Hypocrisy

This is what I'm thinking too: Shhhh! As the world waits for Obama to voice his opinion on Gaza, America's President-in-waiting hits the golf course. But for different reasons. This article wants him to come out and condemn Israel, which (as I said yesterday I'm not smart enough to know answers to this - but!) I think is the wrong thing to do. Hamas is bombing schools, churches on Sunday, malls and public areas with civilians. Israel is bombing rocket launchers and known Hamas vigiliantes that are sitting on the border waiting to attack. On my scale of baddies, Hamas is the baddie. Again, I'm not a Middle Eastern expert, but I think until Iran and other areas accept Israel as a state none of this will end. No one over there wants a Palestinian state. They want Israel gone.
Michelle Malkin had this yesterday. She points to Anchoress today. And Drudge has a story up about hecklers on the golf course in Hawaii giving Obama a hard time about his golf game and his bowling score.
4 more years of watching the guy in t-shirts and talking about his work out regime and his golf game? I can hardly wait. The press can't get enough of him. I know, he's good looking. I know, you love him. Can we talk about something relevant now? I was hoping that the advent of the much loved President Elect Obama would usher in a new wave of nice news, but I didn't realize it was going to be nice puff pieces on whether or not Obama uses cream rinse in the shower or uses 40 pound weights in lieu of 25 when running.
The love affair has only just begun. Which is to be expected. But just as these two ladies pointed out, Bush was derided as an obsessive compulsive for working out every day, Obama? He's dedicated.
Yes kids, and he smokes. So all that exorsize? Yeah it's great and all, but it won't save him from lung cancer.
