Voter Fraud
I have given in to the notion that voter fraud is going to be rampant. It's been 8 years, but there are still those out there that believe the 2000 election was stolen, so that means they are perfectly justified in all of their tactics in this election.
4,000 deceased individuals are registered to vote in Houston. 100s of registrants in Missouri are "questionable." And where did these Missouri registrants come from? ACORN. In Ohio, Freddie Johnson, 19, said ACORN paid him in "cash and cigarettes" so he would register 72 times. That's one guy. One guy registered to vote 72 times.
By now you've heard of the ACORN raids in Nevada, where "employees are suspected of using false addresses or false names, including those of former Dallas Cowboys" on voter registrations.
Then there's Connecticut, where ACORN submitted phony registration cards, one of which was for a seven year old girl. Her voter card said she was 27.
Then there's Wisconsin. Where community organizers were signing up convicted felons and submitting their registration cards. "Virtually all the workers under scrutiny were employed by either the voters project or by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now." That'd be ACORN, for the really slow.
Indiana. ACORN turned in 2,000 voter registration cards with illegible handwriting and they "apparently pulled names and addresses from telephone books and forged signatures."
Indianapolis has 105% of it's population registered to vote. See all of this and more at Michelle Malkin.
In Ohio in particular, voter fraud is going to be a scary, scary thing. Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner is in the tank for Obama and was not checking new registrant cards against social security and DMV databases. This week a federal district court nailed her for it, and hopefully we'll see some attention paid there.
Of other fraud, Newsmax finds contributions to the Obama campaign that appears to be illegal.
Sure, a lot of people that can't afford to donate more than $200. But it raises questions. Questions some investigative reporters should be asking. But aren't.
But the biggest thing. The hugest thing. Is Obama's relationship with ACORN. His current relationship with ACORN. He's trained their employees. He's paid them this year $800,000 for "advance work." And I don't know about you, but with all the investigating going on into ACORN right now, I'd be wondering if that "advance work" wasn't really illegal voter registration.
Hook or by crook they will win this election. And they don't even care anymore. ACORN in Ohio says they can't be responsible for submitting legitimate registrants, and maybe they can't. But they are purposefully making mischief and making the job of the states to keep elections legit that much harder.
There is a lot of information about Obama's relation with ACORN. And it's all bad. Added to that, new reports show that Obama was a member of the "New Party" a political party created by Democrat socialist to promote the socialist agenda.
If Obama raises taxes on anyone next year, we will see the greatest recession since the Greatest Depression. I truly, truly hope that he will not do that.

Unlike the McCain campaign, which has made its complete donor database available online, the Obama campaign has not identified donors for nearly half the amount he has raised, according to the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP).
Federal law does not require the campaigns to identify donors who give less than $200 during the election cycle. However, it does require that campaigns calculate running totals for each donor and report them once they go beyond the $200 mark.
Surprisingly, the great majority of Obama donors never break the $200
threshold.

This is the downside to ACORN not using volunteers but instead hiring people to do the registering. Being paid creates an incentive for people to pad their stats, obviously. It's a trade-off that ACORN accepts so they can provide income to some low-income folks.
Voter fraud of the type you fear really isn't a likely scenario. Remember most of the problems in Florida in 2000 were related to ballot design. Problems reported in Missouri that year related to polls closing while there were still long lines or running out of ballots, usually in heavily low-income or minority neighborhoods.
As for Obama being a member of the New Party, that's not true. The New Party endorsed him, as they did with lots of candidates, and then they claim those candidates as "their" guys. Kinda the way a labor union or the NRA might describe their endorsed candidate as "theirs." Doesn't make him a member of the party.
Combined with places like Ohio not checking those registrations against real records (DMV, SSN) it spells trouble.
ACORN may be well intentioned, but they are definitely mischievious and more than a little guilty. They aren't being investigated across the country for nothing.
