Gwen Ifill

If you want more information on this ridiculous, I-Can't-Believe-John-McCain-Approved-Her moderator debacle, read all this.

Ifill did not tell the commission about her book on Obama or it's release date (which would coincide with him taking the oath of office). The AP even excuses her saying:

PBS journalist Gwen Ifill, moderator of the upcoming vice presidential debate, dismissed conservative questions about her impartiality because she is writing a book that includes material on Barack Obama.

Um ... it doesn't just include material on Obama. Obama's name is in the flipping title. She calls this "the age of Obama." Which, I suppose, will only be true if he's elected. Coincidentally, because she's the moderator and we're talking about this book release, she's probably gettin more orders. In fact, a book not due out until January is #275 in Amazon sales ranking.

Really ... is there anyone out there other than PBS that thinks this is fair? (And yes, I realize life is not fair. But when it can be, it should be.)
